Sunday, May 18, Cards for the Troops with Dotty Young, noon to 5pm. You’ll come to the Clubhouse and make cards. You’ll make 5 each of four simple designs and you’ll be able to keep one from each group. All the others will be donated to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, who will in turn send them back to their families for various holidays, especially Father’s Day. Not only is this event FREE, but you’re going to feel very good about doing it and having so much fun at the same time! It’s important to call the store and sign-up for a time slot so you won’t have to wait for a seat to make your cards.
